MEET THE STAFF
Darren Lavallee
Director of Tennis
Darren is certified as a USPTA Elite Pro (highest designation), as a CP1 by Tennis Canada, and by the PTR in the U10 and 11-17 age categories. Darren also has bachelor degrees in Marketing and Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Tennis Management. When not on the tennis court, Darren enjoys skiing, hiking, and being in the outdoors.
Susi Orbanowski
Owner
Susi is the owner of OGTA. She has been in the tennis industry for quite some time and calls OGTA her second home. Susi used to run the tennis program for the town, runs the summer camps at OGTA, and is a certified Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) coach.
Kelly Niznansky
Staff Professional
Kelly is from Fairfield, CT and played both Division II Soccer and Tennis at Lynn University. While at Lynn University, she studied Education & Human Resources.
Kelly is a certified USPTA/USPTR tennis professional who previously worked at Chelsea Piers in Stamford and was the Head Coach for High School and College Teams. She offers instruction for players of all ages and abilities.
Maggie Glynn
Staff Professional
Born and raised in Greenwich, Maggie Glynn attended Greenwich High School from 2013-2016. She played for the girls Greenwich Varsity Tennis team, where she earned ALL-FCIAC “Coach’s Choice” Honorable Mention Spring 2014, and ALL-FCIAC (All County West) Singles Spring 2015 & 2016. She was captain of the team for Spring 2016, leading the team to the CT Class L State Championship Finals. Maggie was recruited to play Division 1 tennis at Sacred Heart University. Both a singles and doubles player, she excelled all four years on the team. Graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management. She is currently the Head Middle School and Girls Varsity Tennis Coach at Greenwich Country Day School.
Jared Dye
Staff Professional
Jared is an all-around athlete, and has been an avid tennis player since he was 3 years old. He earned a USTA Junior National Ranking, full NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Scholarship, and Collegiate Rookie of the Year. He holds a degree in management from Rutgers University. Jared has 12 plus years of coaching experience with stops at Trumbull Racquet Club and Tamarack Country Club.
Raphe Hurwitz
Staff Professional
Raphe was raised in Darien, CT and has taught tennis for the last 15 years in the Greenwich and Westchester area. Raphe played tennis at the University of Tampa where he was captain of the team his junior and senior year.

Raphe is a USPTA certified coach. He enjoys teaching both kids and adults of all levels.
